Subject: Solving Incongruities

Elaine / Troy / Bevan / Margaret  .....

Up to this point, Cathryn and I have been waging a horrific
war against counterfeit product.  The biggest problem -- and Elaine,
I made this abundantly clear when we first talked -- is product
made by people like Toby McAdams, who has been putting
vegetable oil, flour, and spices in a jar, and then selling it under the
Cansema name.   The ingredient statement is ours ... but that is not
what the customer gets in the jar.

Jennifer Wilson has also sold product that flat-out
did NOT WORK in Australia.  (I don't know what was in her
product -- like I do with Toby's because no one has sent me
a jar yet, but we have received emails telling us that when put
on skin cancer, the product did not cause a reaction ... )

We never cared if other people made the product.  I even
produced an instructional video that will be known to the whole world
as soon as I finish Meditopia.  But there has to be some element
of differentiation.   That is why copyright, trademark, and patent laws exist.
My good friend, Craig Sallins, sells a black salve (I taught his
people how to make it personally) called simply "Black Salve"
in the U.S.   It is identical to Cansema.  We direct many people to purchase
this product who don't want to wait for our product to come to them from
Ecuador.  (See www.NativeHealingHerbals.com).

ONLY LAST NIGHT ... since we could not get any script or
any other indication of what your movie would contain did Cathryn
or I really go through the pages of Centreforce or BevanPotter.com
to see if we could get an idea.   And now we have it.   OK ....
you're doing the movie to promote your web sites and what you
call "Cansema."   The problem is that "Cansema" has no meaning if
multiple parties from entirely different companies can produce the
product -- with no understanding between them and absolutely
no agreements as to the meaning of the word.  What is the standardized
formula?  What is the standardized protocol?

The web site you have contains an abundance of material that has
just been lifted off our website.  Even this would not be a problem
for me, if we simply had certain civil understandings in place.
But we have never had such discussions --- and given how long
we have discussed the movie project, I must presume that it is
not your intention to have such discussions.   My personal belief
is that you would have a problem if you created a product, went
to prison because certain competitors (in my case, Toby McAdams
and George Ackerson) worked with the FDA to put you there,
had $500,000 in product taken and your lab destroyed, and
then before you can reconstitute your life's work, you find that
your copyrighted materials, and even your trade names, had
been taken by others ---- as if you had never existed.

.....  I'm sitting here with Cathryn .... thinking about how to end
this letter and put this issue to rest.   And in this moment, the only
thing I think of is to simply go our own ways.   I remember
hearing somewhere (and I can't remember where I heard it) that
singer Liza Minnelli, the legendary singer and daughter of Judy
Garland, was asked why she never sang any of her mother's songs,
and she replied that her mother instructed her early on, "Never
be a second rate imitation of somebody else .... Be a first rate
version of yourself."   You can go through all 350 products that
are on the Alpha Omega Labs website and except for those products
for which we were just resellers (like Raisa Cream, Tru-Derm,
Medicardium, Prospero, etc.) where we got the permission of the
originators to use their materials, we never copied other people's
web pages, their product copy, or their trade names.  You wouldn't
catch me dead doing something like that.

Elaine .....  this isn't going to work.

Cathryn and I are not signing anything.
