In December, 2001,
we announced the amazing results
that customers were reporting by combining the effects of
AO III Herbal Toothpaste with
H3O
as an after-care mouthwash. We, ourselves, had used it, noting that it
had such a thorough cleaning effect that you when finished using the
two together,
it felt like you'd just come back from the dentist.

The use of natural compounds
that comprise a "mild" escharotic to make a dentifrice was not new.
One of my mentors, Dr. Russell Jordan, a co-founder of
Vipont Pharmaceutical,
knew years earlier that zinc chloride / bloodroot combinations were far
more effective in preventing gum disease than toothpaste formulas
on the market -- then
or now. (U.S. Patents providing
formulae for the effective treatment of gingivitis using this combination
include
No. 4,160,821 (1978) and
No. 4,335,110 (1980)
More details are provided in
Chapter 1 of Meditopia).

With this knowledge in hand,
we introduced our own dentifrice
in the first edition of the Ashwin (Oct. 2001), followed with the
announcement of the
AO III / H3O combination. (Our formula contains
1% pure bloodroot -- not the alkaloid extract, sanguinarine, which was found
to cause
oral lesions --
a claim we found to be dubious, but observed in our formulary work, nonetheless.
It is our incidental observation that whole herbs normally work better than
concentrated, isolated ingredients derived therefrom . . . which is, in part,
a cornerstone of modern pharmacology.)

Over the years, we've watched as
it has become nearly impossible to obtain "clean" formulas. In fact,
since the purchase of Vipont Pharmaceutical by Colgate years ago, the
formula has been revised more than once -- but still,
not without
the addition of the flouride.

Since our introduction of
Lugol's in
2000, we have warned about
effects of 'halogen
displacement' -- but even more evidence has come out about the harmful effects
of flouride consumption. Flouride has a host of toxicological effects and according
to the
Clinical Toxicology of Commercial Products is "more poisonous than
lead and
just
slightly less poisonous than arsenic." (It's inclusion into nearly all commercially
available dentifrice products can be explained by reading the lead article in
September, 2009 Ashwin --
more to the point here, see YouTube Video,
The Dangers of
Fluoride & Water Fluoridation (11:00).)

In a truly "free market," you have a right
to choose the best product -- free of all corporate propaganda. The choice
of
Alpha Omega III Herbal Toothpaste is the simple choice to clean
your teeth with a formula using a long history of effective oral care
and treatment against, and prevention of, gingivitis.
Ingredients: Calcium carbonate, sorbitol,
Cansema® Nuwais
(zinc chloride USP, chapparal [Larrea maxicata and/or Larrea divericata],
glycerine, nuwais, bloodroot (sanguinaria canadensis)], and stevia
(extract of
Stevia rebaudiana L.).
Instructions: The new, updated
version of
Alpha Omega III Herbal Toothpaste comes in a plastic jar --
as shown above. (It has been reformulated to be more effective and better
tasting.) To use, simply dip the bristle-end of your toothpaste into
the jar, sufficient to lightly coat -- and then brush as you normally would
with any other toothpaste. Immediately, you will notice that our toothpaste
is more astringent compared to other teeth cleaning aids now on the market.
In addition to brushing the teeth, we recommend that you brush the top and
base of the tongue, gums, and inside of the cheeks.

The result is an experience of "cleaner teeth"
and fresh breath. By simply passing your tongue over your teeth, you will notice
that your teeth "feel" extraordinarily clean -- much like the way your
teeth feel after having visited the dentist.

For those who find brushing with
AO III Herbal Toothpaste "too medicinal," we recommend that you
brush with our product twice a week . . . and use ordinarily Baking Soda
(sodium bicarbonate) as your regular "after meal" teeth-cleaning aid
during the rest of the week.

Pharmacology has long sought to solve one problem that
almost universally comes with age --- the degeneration of young,
healthy gums. The use of zinc chloride, chaparral, and bloodroot in
a specially blended base is the secret of this powerful
dentifrice. (For those of you are interested in the history
of this incredible product, see the article in our
October, 2001 Ashwin ---
and to learn about the synergistic effect of this product with
H3O, see our
December, 2001 article.)

Since the formula is astringent,
Alpha Omega 3 will "feel"
different when used than will other toothpaste products. Your
mouth will feel "dried out" while you are brushing, but when
you finish brushing, most of our customers report that your
entire mouth and teeth feel very clean --- as you've just gotten
out of the dentist's chair. Even hard to dissolve "calculus" is
reported by many users to be easily removed with this product,
in conjunction with the oral use of diluted
H3O.

We cannot formally make any claims with respect to the impact that
Alpha Omega 3 Dentifrice will have on you personally if you
have gingivitis or periodontal disease.

But you can.

"Again, just for the record,
yours is also spot-on when it comes to the description and
delivery of your goods. The toothpaste, for instance, is
absolutely brilliant - its miles better than your description!

" ... just a quick note to
thank you for a wonderful product! It works like no other toothpaste
on earth. My feeling is that more people would use it if you could
make it taste as good as some of Colgate's products. Not that it
tastes that bad - just not as pleasant. On the flip side I've
never used anything that removes tartar and leaves your mouth
with a clean feeling like your product does. I have noticed that
you've discontinued some products over time. My hope is that
down the road this one doesn't become one of them ..."
